Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Connecticut seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Nocturnist (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join our growing Hospital Medicine program in Hartford.

Shift 5:00 PM–7:00 AM, 12 shifts per month including 2 weekends; salaried position with highly competitive compensation and opportunities for academics, research and leadership.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Experience welcomed but not required; open to recent graduates and experienced Nocturnists.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nocturnist coverage 5:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Maintain a reasonable patient census with emphasis on high-value, team-based care.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Openings for Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians to join a thriving Nocturnist program.

• Shift hours: 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

• Schedule: 12 shifts per month, including 2 weekends per month (Friday and Saturday nights). The remaining 8 shifts can be selected based on availability and division needs.
