Job summary
Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine physician to join our Hospitalist team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, IL as a Nocturnist with 7 nights on/7 nights off. You will manage admissions and cross coverage from 7 pm to 7 am, with a closed ICU staffed by Intensivists, covering Methodist, Proctor and Pekin hospitals in an Epic EMR environment.
Carle Health offers health/dental/life insurance, CME allowance, relocation assistance, tail malpractice coverage and loan
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physician.
- Nocturnist experience preferred.
- Willing to work night shifts 7 pm–7 am and 7 nights on/7 nights off.
Responsibilities
- Manage admissions and cross coverage from 7 pm to 7 am.
- Support a closed ICU staffed by intensivists.
- Cover one hospital per shift within an integrated Epic EMR system.
