Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our Hospitalist team in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois. The role offers excellent compensation, a sign-on bonus, relocation support, CME allowance, and comprehensive benefits, with a Nocturnist team for coverage and an opportunity for academic affiliation with Carle Illinois College of Medicine.

Work is daytime onsite from 7 AM to 5 PM (and 7 AM to 7 PM on-call by phone), with a 7 on/7 off schedule and sick

Qualifications

• BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician.
• Hospitalist experience or strong inpatient focus preferred.
• U.S. medical license or eligibility to practice in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Cover a 12-bed open ICU with support from the Intensivist team.
• Provide daytime inpatient coverage as part of a Hospitalist program.
• No procedures required as part of the role.
