Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO licensed to practice in the state of practice.
• Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate medical board.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on best practice evidenced based medicine.
• Adheres to standardized orders and guidelines approved by medical staff.
• Demonstrates competency in assessment, treatment planning and patient communication appropriate to the patient’s age.
• Communicates regularly with referring physicians, patients, and families.
• Coordinates patient care and makes referrals to other professionals as needed.
• Teaches wellness habits and educates patients on prevention of health problems.
• Maintains knowledge of current medical practices and protects patient confidentiality.
