Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Hospitalist to join an established 45+ physician program. The full-time position offers inpatient coverage, a predictable call structure with 10–15 shifts per month, and a nonprofit health-system environment that supports physician-led care.

Board Certified or Board Eligible, Tennessee MD/DO licensure and DEA registration are required. Overnight duties include managing a 100-patient census with APP and RN cross-cover support,

• Tennessee medical licensure required prior to hire and DEA registration.
• MD/DO degree from an accredited program.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Join an established team of 45 + physicians

• Driven Nocturnist managing a caseload of 8+ admissions per night

• Productivity incentives: Mixed Model: 45% Salary/45% RVU/10% Quality

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
