Job summary

Central Maine Healthcare in Lewiston, ME seeks an overnight hospitalist to provide comprehensive inpatient care during night shifts. You will admit patients from the emergency department, cross-cover existing inpatients, and respond to overnight clinical changes while collaborating with nurses, specialists and care teams.

Ideal candidates hold an MD or DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and an active Maine medical license.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Eligible for or active Maine medical license.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care during overnight hours.
