Heritage Valley Sewickley is seeking a Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider to deliver primary and acute care to adult and geriatric inpatients under the direct supervision of the Hospitalist Medical Director. The role requires CRNP/PA licensure in PA, CPR, Master's degree, and DEA registration.
On-site, 4- or 10-hour shifts with the Hospitalist team; autonomous practice is required and hospitalist workflow includes inpatient coverage and coordination with attending physicians.

The Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider is a professional with education and training in the primary and emergency medical care of the adult and geriatric populations. The provider is responsible for providing primary care and acute care to hospital inpatients under the direct medical supervision of the Hospitalist Medical Director and/or his designee.
Required
Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner - Nationally certified and/or state licensed to provide skills as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania with current prescriptive authority.
Physician Assistant - Nationally certified and/or state licensed to provide skills as a Physician Assistant in Pennsylvania with current PA State Supervising physician authority.
CPR certification. Must have a Master’s degree or a current Medicare Provider number. DEA Registration. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106. Must possess ability to work autonomously.
Preferred
Two or more years of hospitalist or ICU nursing experience. ACLS and PALS certification is encouraged.
