Job summary

University of Colorado School of Medicine is recruiting emergency medicine physicians to serve primarily as nocturnists in a full-time faculty role (Instructor/Senior Instructor). The position offers a predominately night schedule with flexible night/day mix and a night shift differential.

Opportunities span UCHealth sites and virtual platforms, with onsite work in the Denver metropolitan area. Responsibilities include attending nocturnist coverage, leading quality initiatives, weekend and CME

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Medical License or ability to obtain before start date.
• Completion of an emergency medicine residency.
• Board prepared or certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an attending nocturnist in the ED at approved sites.
• Lead at least one project annually if requested by Chair.
• Work one weekend per month.
• Participate in rotating sick call coverage per guidelines.
• Complete CME per guidelines.
• Serve on ad hoc department or practice site committees.
