SSM Health invites applications for a Critical Care Advanced Practitioner (ACNP/PA) to practice at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL, in a brand-new facility. This nocturnist role spans 7 p.m.

to 7 a.m. on a 7on/7off schedule, supporting admissions, consults, and post-op patients in a 16-bed CCU. The ideal candidate holds ACNP or PA certification with post-education clinical experience and Illinois licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NP or PA program.
• ACNP or PA must have practice experience post-education.
• Ability to obtain PA/NP licensure in Illinois.

Responsabilités

• Nocturnist position from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on a 7on/7off schedule (Tue–Tue) in a 16-bed CCU.
• Provide admissions and consultations; care for post-operative surgical patients.
• Procedural experience with central and arterial lines and intubation is highly desirable; training available.
• On-the-job training with a collaborating physician for support.
