Job summary

Convergence Networks in Seattle is seeking a NOC Technician (Monitoring & Alert Response) to triage and resolve client alerts. You will manage incidents across servers, networks, and endpoints with a strong emphasis on customer communication and timely resolutions.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in IT operations or NOC, hands-on RMM and network monitoring experience, and solid server/network fundamentals.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in IT operations, Service Desk, or a NOC environment.
• Hands-on experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools (e.g., NinjaRMM) and network monitoring tools (e.g., Auvik).
• Strong foundation in server administration (Windows/Linux) and network fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across diverse IT infrastructure.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous high-priority alerts in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client and vendor interaction.

Responsibilities

• Triage and respond to a wide range of alerts from monitoring platforms (e.g., NinjaRMM, Auvik).
• Investigate and troubleshoot infrastructure alerts across server, network, and endpoints.
• Communicate proactively with clients to inform them of incidents and coordinate resolutions.
• Collaborate with ISPs, hardware vendors, and internal teams to resolve complex issues.
• Document all alert activities and resolutions in ticketing systems.
• Perform remediation steps such as clearing disk space or restarting services.
• Follow SOPs for alert handling and service restoration.
