Job summary

Advocate Health's 47-bed Medical Surgical unit at Aurora Medical Center – Bay Area seeks an experienced RN to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safety and quality across the continuum.

The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, BLS, and telemetry/ACLS readiness within 6 months. Variable shift may include noc, weekend rotation, and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Telemetry and ACLS are required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
