Job summary

Telecare Kern Adult Psychiatric Health Facility seeks a Recovery Specialist II to meet the physical and psychological needs of adult clients within a 16-bed facility in Bakersfield, CA. The role includes direct and indirect services aligned with individual plans and Medicaid standards.

Shifts include Full-Time NOC (11:00 PM–7:30 AM). Starting wage ranges from $23.00 to $23.71 per hour, with geographic differentials based on location and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years of experience in a psychiatric mental health setting or BA/BS with one year MH experience.
• Knowledge of basic nursing skills and mental/physical health terminology.
• CPR, First Aid and CPI certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care that responds to physical and psychological needs of members.
• Deliver direct and indirect services per individual service plans and Medicaid standards.
• Use company vehicle to transport clients to appointments when required.
