Job summary
Iridium Satellite LLC is seeking a Network Operations Technician for an onsite role in Tempe, AZ to monitor and test gateway network elements and assist with remote maintenance. Basic network operations knowledge and Linux command line skills are required, along with strong communication to coordinate with engineers and vendors. The job supports 24x7x365 operations, requiring overnight shifts after training.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Basic knowledge of network operations.
- Basic knowledge of Linux command line.
- Strong communication skills and ability to receive feedback.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and test Gateway network elements per procedures.
- Assist with remote maintenance and run performance checklists.
- Support troubleshooting of customer trouble tickets.
- Respond to alerts and coordinate fault resolution with team and vendors.
- Assist with equipment installation, cable runs and server room maintenance per Data Center Standards.
- Escalate non-standard events to on-call Engineer or Management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
