Job summary

Centennial Peaks Hospital in Louisville, CO, seeks Mental Health Techs to maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu and support patients under RN supervision. You will participate in crisis intervention, patient education groups, and daily living activities while contributing to a positive guest experience.

The NOC shift runs 11:00pm–7:30am with rotating weekends. Competitive pay, generous benefits, and opportunities for career development are provided within a UHS system hospital.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One-year experience with psychiatric patients preferred.
• Knowledge of psychiatric group processes, therapeutic relationships, age-specific growth and development, limit setting and behavior management; CPR training preferred or ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and therapeutic milieu and observe/record patient information for the treatment plan.
• Deliver crisis intervention and lead individual/family education groups and activities of daily living.
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and support the nursing team.
