Job summary

Centennial Peaks Hospital in Louisville, CO seeks a Mental Health Tech to create a safe therapeutic milieu and support treatment plans under RN supervision. You will observe and document patient information, help with daily living activities and lead education groups to empower patients.

The role includes day shifts from 7am to 3:30pm, with 2 weekend shifts per pay period and eligibility for substantial shift differentials. The hospital emphasizes service excellence and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with psychiatric patient population preferred.
• Knowledge of group processes, therapy, crisis management and CPR preferred or learnable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment and therapeutic milieu for patients.
• Observe and record patient information for treatment plans and report to nursing staff.
• Deliver crisis intervention and patient education activities as directed.
• Assist with activities of daily living and direct patient care under RN supervision.
