Job summary

Cogir of Ardrey Oaks in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a full-time Medication Technician (Med Tech/CMA) to administer medications and support residents. You will work on a 12-hour night shift (7pm–7am) with weekend rotation, fostering a caring, respectful environment and ensuring safety and comfort for residents.

Required are a high school diploma, a valid medication administration license (CNA/CMA/QMAP), and current First Aid/CPR. Prior memory care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state medication administration license (CNA/CMA/QMAP/Certified Caregiver) or meet state requirements.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications per individual care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide daily living support and companionship in a team setting.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
