Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled NOC Engineer to join their team. This role supports a modern fiber and packet-optical network, involving monitoring, troubleshooting, provisioning, and incident communication.

The position offers on-call rotation, onsite work, and a stable, growth-minded environment. A candidate with 5+ years in network operations and strong communication skills will excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of network operations experience.
• Experience with network monitoring and alarm correlation.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.
• Experience in a service-provider or telecom NOC environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Understanding of network security standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network events, alarms, and service performance.
• Correlate incidents and manage trouble tickets.
• Communicate outage updates to customers and internal teams.
• Escalate issues with clear technical details and next steps.
• Provision services on core and access network equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and MOPs.
• Support engineering and technical teams as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation and scheduled shift coverage.

Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience

In this role, you’ll help keep critical services running smoothly through monitoring, troubleshooting, provisioning, and clear communication during incidents and outages. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Monitor network events, alarms, and service performance
• Correlate incidents and manage trouble tickets

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with packet-optical or FTTH networks
• Familiarity with Ciena, Calix, Adtran, Cisco, or Juniper
• Exposure to SolarWinds, LibreNMS, Zabbix, or Grafana
• Experience with ITSM or modern ticketing platforms
• Basic scripting or automation experience
• CCNA, JNCIA, or similar certification
• Experience creating detailed technical documentation
• Microsoft 365, Visio, or Project experience
