Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. seeks a Non-Destructive Assay Expert Technical Reviewer to oversee NOA activities at the RWMC, ensuring compliance and reliability of TRU and LLW/MLLW measurements in Idaho Falls.

You will conduct independent technical reviews, validate data, and support instrument operations. The role requires a Bachelor's in physics/engineering, 5 years NOA experience, and 2 years nuclear experience; a Master's is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in physics or engineering with 5 years NOA experience and 2 years nuclear experience.
Master's degree in physical science or engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide independent expert technical reviews of NOA systems and data.
Recommend improvements to NOA techniques, processes, and system reliability.
Review and approve technical procedures including operating, calibration, validation, and QA documents.
Review RTR recordings to identify items needing detailed modeling.
Perform !SOCS modeling for specific waste configurations to optimize measurement.
Oversee calibration, certification, operation, and troubleshooting of NOA instruments.
Support instrument operations and collaborate with engineering teams.
Support software validation and testing for NOA systems.
Validate NOA and batch data in the Waste Tracking System.
Coordinate with regulatory bodies and assist in audits.
