Job summary

Omega Technical Services is seeking a Waste Management Non-Destructive Assay (NDA) Engineer to provide technical oversight of NDA activities supporting TRU, LLW, and MLLW characterization at the Radioactive Waste Management Complex (RWMC) in Idaho Falls.

This role serves as an NDA Expert Technical Reviewer ensuring measurement quality, system reliability, and compliance with DOE, EPA, and WAC standards. Four 10-hour workdays, on-site Idaho Falls.

Qualifications

• Five years of NDA experience and two years of nuclear experience.
• Knowledge of environmental, safety, health, quality, and security requirements.
• Ability to understand emergency procedures and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent expert reviews of NDA systems, data, and procedures.
• Review and approve QA procedures, calibration, and data validation.
• Oversee NDA instrument calibration, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Validate NDA measurements and batch data in WTS.
• Support NDA software validation and audits.
