Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring for a Retread Technician in Haubstadt, IN. Training will be provided; no prior experience is required to join our retread team focused on extending tire life through multiple stages from inspection to final quality checks.

Starting pay is $22.00 per hour with opportunities for overtime and weekly pay cycles. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, life insurance, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to determine retread eligibility.
• Buff casings to remove worn tread and repair as needed.
• Remove embedded objects, repair casings, and apply new tread.
• Cure and inspect retreaded tires for safety and quality.
