Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record check.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire.
• No suspended driver’s license for a traffic accident/violation in the past 3 years.
• No at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle for visual and operating defects; complete daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; report repairs.
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load/unload vehicle; ensure material is correct and undamaged before departure.
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery when needed.
• Ensure delivery documentation is completed and signed by the customer.
• Pick up material returns and inspect condition and quantities.
• Pick up material from suppliers.
• Mentor entry level drivers and provide coaching.
• May perform other branch duties including counter sales, packing, stocking, or shipping.
