You will apply expertise in wound healing, perform debridement and bedside procedures, and collaborate with facilities to advance patient outcomes. Training is provided, and options include full-time or part-time work.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Open background: Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, surgeons of all backgrounds welcome; no previous wound care experience required; training provided

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Utilize advanced dressings and wound care protocols
• Collaborate with teams in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings to follow healing progress
