Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Memphis, TN is seeking a Plastic Surgeon to join as a wound care physician with no-call requirements. The role offers full- or part-time schedules, with income potential between $200,000 and $300,000 per year for full-time commitments.

You will perform surgical debridement, wound evaluation and management, and work collaboratively with skilled nursing facilities, using our integrated documentation tools to streamline care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted state medical license (or eligible to obtain one).
• DEA license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including pressure injuries.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
