Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Austin, TX seeks a Wound Care Physician to join our growing team. This role emphasizes a no-call lifestyle with daytime hours and opportunities to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.

We offer full-time or part-time schedules with per-patient and per-procedure pay plus quarterly bonuses. MD or DO required with TX license, DEA, and full flexibility to practice across facilities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background; prior wound care or procedural experience is not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and bedside wound care including debridement as part of patient care.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Use of advanced dressings and wound care protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
