Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking physicians in Shelbyville, TN to lead wound care initiatives in SNFs. This role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with opportunities for part-time work alongside current practice.

You’ll perform debridement and bedside procedures, manage chronic wounds, and benefit from training in advanced wound protocols within a supportive team. This is a competitive, physician-led opportunity.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the practicing state.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Use the latest wound healing techniques to improve patient outcomes.
• Perform surgical and bedside debridement and related procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing wounds and complex cases.
• Collaborate with staff in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
