Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Ventura, CA seeks a Vascular Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. The role emphasizes a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with the option of full-time or part-time work. You will apply vascular expertise to wound care and maintain surgical skills with bedside procedures.

Compensation for full-time is substantial, with pay structures per patient and per procedure plus quarterly bonuses, and there is no cap on earnings for top performers.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background: no wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and bedside debridement and other procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds including arterial, venous and diabetic ulcers.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, following patients through healing.
