Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Manhattan, NY is seeking Plastic Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role emphasizes a no-call lifestyle with Monday–Friday hours, allowing surgeons to focus on wound expertise without the overhead of running a practice.

Ideal candidates have an MD or DO, unrestricted license, and DEA eligibility. Compensation includes per-patient and per-procedure pay with quarterly bonuses, and comprehensive wound care training is provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcome; training in wound care provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and bedside debridement and related procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds in patients.
• Use advanced dressings and wound care protocols.
• Collaborate with facilities in post-acute settings to manage healing trajectories.
