Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking an Internal Medicine physician in Huntsville, AL to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities and outpatient settings. Work without night calls and enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with full- or part-time options.

Physicians bring Internal Medicine expertise to manage chronic wounds, with training provided for bedside procedures and clinical autonomy in a supportive group.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License: or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: We welcome Internal Medicine physicians and hospitalists, and family medicine physicians; no prior wound care or procedural experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care within skilled nursing facilities and outpatient settings.
• Lead wound care initiatives and patient management using Internal Medicine expertise.
• Perform bedside procedures and debridement as trained.
