Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Albuquerque, NM is seeking Internal Medicine Physicians to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with options for full-time or part-time and emphasizes clinical autonomy and reduced administrative burden.

You will perform debridement and manage chronic conditions, with training provided and a focus on improving patient outcomes in the community.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license (or eligibility to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Management of underlying conditions affecting wound healing.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
