Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Rockville, MD is seeking a General Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice or eligibility to obtain one.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcomed; we provide comprehensive wound care training.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Apply advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting to follow patients through healing.
