Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Manhattan, NY is seeking Acute Care Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. This no-call, Monday–Friday surgeon role lets you maintain surgical debridement skills and practice autonomy outside the hospital.

Average earnings range is $200,000–$250,000, with bonuses pushing beyond $300,000. Independent contractor pay per patient and per procedure, with quarterly bonuses, and comprehensive wound care training provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.
• Perform surgical and bedside debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Provide clinical autonomy in decision making.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
