Hope Community Capital LLC is seeking an NMTC Consultant to assist community-based organizations, developers, Tribes, CDEs, lenders, and partners in using the NMTC program effectively. This client-facing role focuses on delivering meaningful impact and ensuring financing supports project success.

The role emphasizes collaboration, rigorous analysis, and developing practical NMTC strategies while avoiding sales quotas.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of NMTC, community development finance, or related experience
• Experience supporting one or more phases of an NMTC transaction
• Strong financial-analysis skills, including budgets, projections, and debt-service capacity
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to simplify complex concepts

Responsibilities

• Advise clients and manage NMTC engagements with tailoring to each project
• Develop NMTC strategies, work plans, and closing schedules
• Explain program requirements, costs, risks, and tradeoffs in plain language
• Coordinate with a wide range of transaction parties and deliverables
• Prepare and manage allocation applications, due diligence, and narratives
• Identify issues early and propose practical solutions
• Support clients through construction and post-closing phases
