Job summary

Huntington is seeking a New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) Business Development Associate Project Manager in Pittsburgh to underwrite debt facilities and equity investments, and to manage closings with internal and external teams. The role involves financial modeling, risk analysis, and presenting memorandums on deal structure and budgets.

The successful candidate will coordinate with developers, Credit, and closing teams, learn LP agreement negotiations, and support due diligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ NMTC experience with technical knowledge of NMTC program.
• Strong presentation skills to Credit and other internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting debt facilities and equity investments and coordinating successful closings with all internal and external groups.
• Acting as a contact with the developer during underwriting and closing process.
• Financial modeling of sources and uses, capital stack, development budget, operating budget pro forma, cash flow, benefit schedule, and other analyses.
• Drafting and presenting comprehensive memorandums summarizing the transaction, deal structure, budgets, guarantor analysis, compliance, risks and mitigants, and final recommendation.
• Leading limited partnership agreement negotiations, closing timelines and due diligence review.
