Responsibilities

• The Senior Manager, NMC&A Operations provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Material Control, Technical and Measurement Support, and Accounting functions within the Nuclear Material Control and Accountability (NMC&A) department.
• This position is responsible for developing and implementing cohesive strategies to ensure the robust protection, control, and accurate accountability of special nuclear materials (SNM) in strict adherence with Department of Energy (DOE) and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) requirements.
• The incumbent will lead and mentor diverse technical teams, drive continuous process improvement, and serve as a subject matter expert in resolving complex operational issues and discrepancies.
• The Senior Manager will develop and deploy adaptive strategies to ensure NMC&A infrastructure and processes are seamlessly integrated with evolving site modifications.
• This requires acting as a key liaison with site planning, construction, and operations teams to mitigate risks, ensure operational continuity, and transition through the site's changes to maintain control and accountability of its nuclear material inventory.
