Job summary

MELE Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Material Control & Accountability Specialist to support the NA-70 MC&A program. This remote, full-time role requires 10+ years MC&A experience and an active DOE Q clearance, with 20–30% travel to NNSA sites as needed.

The Senior MC&A Specialist will help modernize LANMAS, develop MC&A programs, and provide technical support to the MC&A Program Manager, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk-based controls across sites.

Qualifications

• Active DOE Q security clearance required.
• 10+ years MC&A experience supporting DOE/NNSA programs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for MC&A at NNSA sites.
• Develop and implement MC&A programs for risk-based categories.
• Support LANMAS modernization with requirement specs and testing.
• Assist Program Manager with budget and regulatory activities.
• Coordinate training and resources for MC&A initiatives.
• All other duties as assigned.
