Job summary

Teach Plus New Mexico is seeking a Manager of Policy and Programs to lead the Policy Fellowship and educator leadership initiatives across the state. You will coach teacher leaders, design learning experiences, and translate research into practical policy recommendations for educators and policymakers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in education policy, advocacy, coalition building, or related field.
• Experience researching data and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and facilitation skills.
• Experience coaching, developing, or facilitating adult learners.
• Commitment to educational opportunity and systems-level change.

Responsibilities

• Lead Policy Fellowship and educator leadership initiatives.
• Coach teacher leaders through training and feedback.
• Design engaging learning experiences on policy, advocacy, leadership, and systems change.
• Develop policy recommendations, testimony, op-eds, presentations, and policy materials.
• Build relationships with participants and foster a high‑quality leadership experience.
• Manage program implementation, timelines, communications, and logistics.
• Monitor growth, project quality, and program outcomes.
