NM Lake Forest Hospital Expansion

Northwestern Medicine has initiated a campus development project at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital to better serve patients and the community. This project is a response to the ongoing need for expanded patient care services and access.

During the project, we will add two new patient care pavilions to the hospital, which will enable us to:

1. Increase the total number of hospital beds to 210, including 168 inpatient beds, 24 ICU beds, and 18 postpartum beds.
2. Relocate and expand the Emergency Department with enhanced diagnostic imaging capabilities.
3. Improve access to care.
4. Continue to grow specialty care services.
