NM Lake Forest Hospital Expansion

Northwestern Medicine has initiated a campus development project at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital to enhance patient and community services. This project responds to the ongoing need for expanded patient care facilities and services.

During the expansion, two new patient care pavilions will be added, enabling us to:

1. Increase hospital beds to a total of 210, including 168 inpatient beds, 24 ICU beds, and 18 postpartum beds
2. Relocate and expand the Emergency Department with upgraded diagnostic imaging capabilities
3. Enhance access to care
4. Expand specialty care services
