SteerBridge, Inc. is seeking an NLP Data Scientist to support the Modern Disability Claims program, applying NLP and ML to extract, structure, and analyze medical and claims data for VA disability adjudication.

Responsibilities include building NLP pipelines, tuning models with VA datasets, and collaborating with VA stakeholders to deliver impactful, compliant data solutions. Candidates should have gov/healthcare data experience and clear communication skills.

Formación

• Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain.
• 5–8 years of Python and NLP experience.
• Experience with SQL and Jupyter notebooks.
• Ability to communicate complex data science concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience delivering data science projects in government/healthcare.

Responsabilidades

• Extract data using NLP and tune models with VA data.
• Build NLP pipelines to support automation and analytics in claims adjudication.
• Collaborate with VA stakeholders to define data science requirements.
• Ensure model quality, accuracy, and performance via testing.
• Document data workflows and model tuning procedures.
• Assist integration of NLP models within VA systems.
