Job summary

AdgOptz is seeking a data-driven NLP engineer to advance our search-term intelligence platform. You will build and evaluate NLP, NER, and classification models that help advertisers understand and optimize queries at scale.

Collaborating with SEM, data, and engineering teams, you will design robust evaluation sets, analyze query patterns, and translate model tradeoffs into practical guidance for product workflows and marketing stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with applied NLP, classification, embeddings, clustering or recommendation systems.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for analysis and model evaluation.
• Ability to explain model tradeoffs to technical and marketing audiences.
• Paid-search, ad-tech, or growth analytics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate NLP, NER, clustering, and intent-classification systems for search-term analysis.
• Design evaluation sets and quality metrics linking model behavior to paid-search outcomes.
• Analyze query patterns, negative keywords, match-type behavior, and optimization signals.
• Collaborate with engineering to deploy models into product workflows.
