Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a Web AI Software Engineer to transform desktop-based simulation and AI capabilities into scalable, cloud-native applications. You will work across the application, AI/simulation, and cloud stacks to integrate, modernize, and productionize engineering solutions that users can access from anywhere.

This role suits a software engineer who enjoys solving complex problems across technology boundaries, learning new tools, and turning proofs of concept

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with production-quality applications.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, OOP, and problem solving.
• Strong Python proficiency for scalable software applications and services.
• Experience designing and developing cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and deploying cloud-based apps.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across AI, simulation, product, and software teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and deliver scalable features across the application and cloud stack.
• Cloud-enable AI and simulation by integrating capabilities into cloud-based workflows.
• Solve complex technical problems across application, AI, data, and cloud technologies.
• Develop and productionize prototypes, evolving concepts into production-ready capabilities.
• Build scalable platform components using modern cloud architecture, APIs, containers, and real-time communication.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, simulation experts, product teams, and software engineers.
• Continuously learn and innovate to advance the platform.
