Job summary

Njaseps in West Orange, NJ is seeking energetic and motivated teachers to join our supportive program with small class sizes and supervision by a BCBA and BCBA-D. Under the direction of the classroom BCBA and Clinical Director, teachers provide one-to-one instruction per IEP, oversee Direct Instruction, collect and graph data, and communicate progress to the classroom team. Weekly parent training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ DOE Teacher of Students with Disabilities Standard Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one instruction under the direction of the classroom BCBA and Clinical Director.
• Oversee Direct Instruction in collaboration with the classroom BCBA.
• Collect, graph, and analyze student data to monitor progress.
• Provide ongoing feedback to the classroom team on student progress and concerns.
• Deliver weekly parent training in school, community, or home.
