Job summary

FreshDirect in New Jersey is seeking a Route Driver to efficiently deliver boxes within the NJ area. You will operate a refrigerated truck and hand truck, adhering to schedules and providing professional customer service.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent commercial truck driving experience, a valid NY/NJ/CT driver license, ability to lift 50 lbs, weekend/holiday availability, and the ability to work in a wet and cold environment. Training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RECENT commercial truck driving experience.
• Must be able to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and Holidays.
• Must have a valid NY, NJ, CT driver license.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and handle physical requirements.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient and safe delivery of boxes to our depots within the NJ area.
• Operates a refrigerated truck and a hand truck to assist deliveries.
• Deliver orders to destinations within a scheduled time.
• Provide professional customer service and timely reporting to supervisors.
