Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Live-In Caregivers / HHAs to support clients across Northern & Southern New Jersey. The role involves staying in the client home for extended periods and providing compassionate private home care with reliable, patient-focused service.

Qualified applicants have at least one year of HHA experience, hold an active NJ HHA license, and will complete BAYADA’s training. BAYADA offers robust benefits, weekly pay, and opportunities for career growth across NJ.

Qualifications

• Minimum one full year of HHA work experience.
• Active New Jersey HHA license required.
• Completion of an approved HHA training course.
• Must pass in-person orientation and skills evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Light housekeeping, grooming, bathing, toileting, and nail care.
• Transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices; range of motion exercises.
• Medication assistance and monitoring vital signs.
• Remain in the home for each 24-hour period as assigned by the clinical manager.

As a member of our home care team, you will be valued, respected, and heard. The Live-In Caregiver is present in the home and available to provide assistance intermittently throughout a 24 hour period.

We have current job openings for Live-In Caregivers in the following locations:

ALL OF NORTHERN & SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY

BAYADA offers Live-Ins / HHAs:

• Base Pay: $1,360 - $1,450 WEEKLY (pay rate depends on level of care involved)
• Bonus Opportunities - for covering emergency fill-ins, referring other HHAs to BAYADA, and more.
• Transportation provided for live-ins
• Home Care Field Employees are eligible for any of BAYADA's group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits if you work an average of 30 hours per week over a 3-month measurement period .
• Home Care Field Employees working less than 30 hours per week are eligible for the Minimum and Enhanced Minimum Coverage Plans.

Qualifications for Live-In / HHA:

• Minimum ONE FULL YEAR work experience as an HHA, or a non-healthcare Employer (if newly licensed)
• Have completed a recognized HHA training course and hold an ACTIVE NEW JERSEY HHA License
