Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Live-In Home Health Aide in Union, NJ. You will provide care and assistance to clients in their home, available throughout a 24-hour period. Responsibilities include aiding in daily living activities, housekeeping, and medication assistance.

Qualifications

• One year of verifiable work experience with a Healthcare Agency or non-healthcare employer.
• Successful completion of a 76-hour Home Health Aide training course (HHA Certification in New Jersey).
• Hold an ACTIVE HHA license with the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
• Ability to drive client using client’s vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping and bathing.
• Conduct grooming and toileting activities.
• Assist with vital sign checks and oral feeding.
• Manage home tasks like laundry and meal preparation.

As a member of our home care team, you will be valued, respected, and heard. The Live-In Caregiver is present in the home and available to provide assistance intermittently throughout a 24 hour period.

• Successful completion of a 76‑hour Home Health Aide training course (HHA Certification in New Jersey).
• Hold an ACTIVE HHA license with the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
• Ability to drive client using client’s vehicle with a driver’s license in good standing.

Job Responsibilities for Live‑In HHA

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing

• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
• Remain in the home for each 24‑hour period, as assigned by clinical manager.
