Ogletree Deakins in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal to join a fast-paced practice. Under attorney supervision, you will prepare and file NIV and IV petitions, draft correspondence, organize client files, and communicate with multiple attorneys to advance cases.

Qualifications include a four-year degree or ABA‑approved paralegal certificate, 5+ years of immigration paralegal experience, and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, INSZoom, and document management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from ABA-approved program.
• 5+ years of employment-based Immigration Paralegal experience required, preferably in a large law firm environment.
• Knowledge of NIV (Nonimmigrant Visa) process (H-1B, L-1, TN) and IV processing (I-140s, I-485s).
• Strong writing skills, excellent attention to detail, multitasking, and ability to work independently toward team goals.
• Outstanding organizational skills; proficient in MS Word, Outlook, INSZoom, and document management systems.

Position Summary

Our Columbus, OH office has an opportunity for an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal to join their fast-paced business immigration practice! Under attorney supervision, the immigration paralegal is responsible for the preparation and filing of NIV and IV petitions. The paralegal compiles and analyzes case facts, drafts correspondence, maintains and organizes client documentation, and communicates directly with multiple attorneys.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
• 5+ years of employment-based Immigration Paralegal experience required, preferably in a large law firm environment.
• Knowledge of the NIV (Nonimmigrant Visa) process, specifically in H-1B, L-1, and TN.
• Knowledge of the IV (Immigrant Visa) processing, including I-140s and I-485s.
• Successful candidates will possess strong writing skills, have excellent attention to detail, be able to multitask, and work independently toward team goals.
