Job summary

Airgas is seeking a CDL A driver in Lake Charles, LA to safely transport liquid nitrogen and support customer service and operations in the field. The role requires HazMat and Tanker endorsements, TWIC, and at least 1 year of tractor-trailer and tanker experience.

• Quarterly Incentive Bonus
• Drivers make $100,000+/yearly
• $2000 Driver Referral Bonus (unlimited)
• Travel: 80-100% travel in domestic states (private room /no roommate)
• Work Schedule: Must be available to work in the field on assignment for 21 consecutive days and 7 PAID days off schedule. Yes! Your are paid during your days off

Your primary contribution in this role is to safely deliver liquid nitrogen to our customers. You will partner daily with the district manager and field supervisor to support excellent customer service and operational success. We are looking for someone to champion the Airgas Nitrogen Services safety culture and demonstrate a commitment to DOT rules and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements
• TWIC Card Required
• +1 year experience of tractor-trailer driving within the last four years
• +1 year experience of tanker experience within the last four yearsProficiency with manual transmission vehicles

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college or military technical experience
• Forklift experience
• Basic knowledge of cryogenic pumps, tanks, transports, hydraulic equipment and diesel engines
• Knowledge of industrial gases________________________
