Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, seeks a CDL A Driver Hazmat/Nitrogen Pump Operator in Lake Charles, LA to deliver industrial gases to customers and storage sites. You will coordinate with teams, perform vehicle inspections, and ensure safety and compliance on every trip.

The role requires HazMat and Tanker endorsements, TWIC, and 21 days on-site field work followed by 7 paid days off. Expect 80–100% travel with private accommodations and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements.
• TWIC Card Required.
• 1+ year tractor-trailer driving experience in the last four years.
• 1+ year tanker experience in the last four years.
• Proficient with manual transmission vehicles.
• High school diploma or GED, plus two years technical college or military technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Pilot tractor-trailers to deliver industrial gases to customers or storage sites.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and help address maintenance needs.
• Report accidents, safety issues, and customer feedback to ensure a secure environment.
• Complete and submit required DOT and company reports.

Pay and Incentives

• Ability to earn $100k+ annually
• Quarterly Incentive Bonus
• $2000 Driver Referral Bonus (unlimited)
• Travel: 80-100% travel in domestic states (private room /no roommate)
• Work Schedule: Must be available to work in the field on assignment for 21 consecutive days and 7 PAID days off schedule. Yes! You are paid during your days off

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements
• TWIC Card Required
• +1 year experience of tractor-trailer driving within the last four years
• +1 year experience of tanker experience within the last four years
• Proficiency with manual transmission vehicles
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college or military technical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience
• Basic knowledge of cryogenic pumps, tanks, transports, hydraulic equipment and diesel engines
• Knowledge of industrial gases
