Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a Field Service Technician to ensure the safe and efficient operation of nitrogen plants at customer sites in Michigan. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose plant issues, calibrate compressors and gas analyzers, and coordinate contractors for audits and activities.

Strong safety focus and clear communication with customers are essential. Candidates should have a High School Diploma with technical Associate preferred, 2–5 years in air separation or process control

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; technical Associate degree preferred
• 2–5 years of operations experience in air separation or similar process control environments
• Expertise in instrumentation, controls and general maintenance of industrial equipment
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance including compressors
• Strong safety awareness and procedural adherence
• Ability to interpret process control schematics and communicate technically
• Proficient with computers (MS Office) and process control systems
• Capable of meeting physical requirements (confined spaces, lifting up to 50 lbs, heights)

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of nitrogen plants at customer sites
• Solve field site issues while maintaining air separation plants with minimal supervision
• Interact with customers and provide guidance and clear communication
• Maintain safety, quality, and compliance at each plant location
• Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors, gas analyzers, and control systems
• Coordinate contractors and resources for plant activities, audits, and administrative tasks
