Evolver is seeking a Security Control Assessor to join our team supporting a federal client in Washington, DC. This on-site role requires 5 days/week at the client's HQ and focuses on independent testing of 20 FIPS Moderate/Low systems.

You will develop SAAs, SARs, and SOPs, review artifacts, and present results to government stakeholders including ISOs, the CISO, and the Authorizing Official. A strong background in NIST controls and continuous monitoring is essential.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4 years of experience in conducting security testing in accordance with NIST SP 800-53A.
4 years of experience creating POA&Ms in the CSAM tool.
2 years of experience with NIST SP 800-53-A and security control assessment methodologies.
2 years of experience with security program management, including policy and procedure development, Continuous Monitoring, and risk management.
US Citizen with the ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
2 years of previous client-engagement experience.

Mansioni

Conduct security testing in accordance with NIST SP 800-53-A.
Develop Security Controls Assessment Plans, including interviewing, examining, and testing controls.
Gather evidence, summarize testing results, and document results in the assessment plan.
Analyze and summarize scan results, including cloud environment outputs.
Assist in updating IT Security Program policies and procedures and support continuous monitoring.
Produce Security Assessment Reports (SAR) and track POA&Ms to closure.
